My team and I provide IT asset management services for the full life cycle of our client’s IT assets, including receiving, maintaining inventory, decommissioning of devices and DOD certified disposal. We also schedule refresh deployments for our client headquartered in Newport News, VA, and all of their off-site locations.
The client, is a leading defense contractor and largest employer in the state of Virginia, employing over 40,000 with one of its largest manufacturing facilities spanning more than 2 miles.
What was your career path prior to joining Bell Techlogix? I earned a degree in electrical engineering from ECPI University. As a student, I interned in the IT office and enjoyed it. That experience helped me pursue a career in IT.
What do you consider as your biggest accomplishment or win in your career? I am proud of the support we provided to our clients during the unprecedented times of the global pandemic. At the shipyard, my team and I deployed over 2,000 laptops in a very short period of time to support the sudden need for employees to work remotely during the stay-at-home orders in March of 2020.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a leader? Always keep a level head and positive outlook, even when things seem bleak.
What is your advice to women just starting out in their careers? Follow your dreams, no matter how crazy they might sound to others
